Escape Route Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Escape Route Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The middle photo is of Sandra at her Saturday Market Co-op booth inside the Paradise Community Center. I shot the other photos during our walking tour. The photo on the left is of a purified water vendor’s cart and his cute little children that we just happened upon during our walk. The photo on the right was taken inside the unique and gorgeous Rivera del Rio Boutique Hotel in the Romantic Zone.

Sandra Cesca is such a lovely lady and a wonderful tour guide! As a long-term expat, Sandra has extensive knowledge of the Puerto Vallarta area. She offers a variety of two-hour guided walking tours to introduce visitors to the beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta along with its vibrant Mexican culture and wonderfully charming people. I had an opportunity to take one of Sandra’s walking tours and found it to be really fun and informative.

The Puerto Vallarta tours currently offered: El Centro City Walk, South-side City Walk, Gringo Gulch Architecture and History, Tripical Plant Walk, Rio Cuale In Town Walk, Malecon Sculpture Walk, Rio Cuale Upriver, Pitillal Centro Plaza, Boca de Tomatlan Beach and Nature Hike, Sayulita Town and Beach, Yelapa Town and Beach, Bucerias Town and Beach.

Walking tours are $25 per person and about 2 hours in length. Longer 3-4 hour excursions are available at $10 per person, per hour. Custom tours are available. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If you’d like to chat with her in person, I encourage you to visit her booth at the year-round Saturday Market Co-op in the Paradise Community Center (Pulpito #127, between the streets Amapas & Olas Altas in Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone).

Sandra is the author of two wonderful walking-tour photo books. I bought copies of both of her books and I’ve really enjoyed browsing through all the lovely, colorful images. Her first book is entitled “Walking Puerto Vallarta and Beyond” ($250 pesos). Her second edition is entitled “Tropical Plant Walks of Puerto Vallarta / Including a Walking Guide of the Vallarta Botanical Gardens” ($250 pesos). These books make great souvenirs of your trip to beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as together the photos capture the essence of life in this unique and magical city.
